Who We Are
Whatcom Street Medicine is a program of the Whatcom County Medical Reserve Corps, a state and national network of local groups of volunteers engaging local communities to strengthen public health, reduce vulnerability, build resilience, and improve preparedness, response and recovery capabilities.
We are doctors and nurses providing empathy-based medical care to our unhoused neighbors where they are. On the streets or in the camps, a small team carrying backpacks of medical supplies provide first aid, basic wound care, and consultation. Are you a medical professional who wants to volunteer? See our website for the process: whatcomstreetmedicine.org
