We’re partnering with Whatcom Land Trust to help with restoration work at their Rutsatz Salmon Reserve property along the Nooksack River. At this work party, you will be removing blackberry vines and digging up roots from around young trees, increasing their survival rate, and clearing the way for additional future tree-planting. Healthy forest along the banks of the Nooksack River has a direct impact on the health and reproduction of salmon.
