15th Annual Bellingham Bay Bocce Tournament

Greetings Leah,

I am writing to request your help putting on the 15th Annual Bellingham Bay Bocce Tournament on Saturday, May 6th, 9-4. Come on board as a volunteer and we can promise you a day of fun! Regardless of whether or not you can join us, please help spread the word by inviting friends to the Facebook event.

About the event

Bocce enthusiasts from around the NW, local & regional businesses, novice players, and spectators come out for a day of bocce & family-friendly festivities, including: a salmon BBQ, Boundary Bay beer garden, raffles, entertainment, bounce houses, face painting, and more!

100% of proceeds benefit the WDRC's mission to provide and promote constructive and collaborative approaches to conflict through mediation, training, facilitation and community education.

What we need

We are seeking volunteers to assist with a variety of roles and responsibilities at the Tournament. Check out the shifts and roles below - then let me know if you are able to join us! We will provide all volunteers with a ticket to the salmon BBQ and either a beer or soda ticket, and a fun afternoon full of festivities.

Volunteer roles available:

Set Up: 7-10am
Registration: 8-10am
Greeter: 8-10am
Lunch Set Up: 11am-1pm
Lunch Maintenance: 11am-1pm
Lunch Clean-Up: 11am-1pm
DJ (equipment/training provided, experience desired): 9-3pm
Face Painting: 11am-1pm, 1-3pm, 2-5pm
Kid Zone: 9:30-11am, 11am-2pm, 2-5pm
Concessions and Raffle Sales: 8:30-11am, 11-2pm, 2-4pm
Clean Up: 3-4:30pm
