Garden of the Salish Sea Curriculum is seeking volunteers to assist with field trips for 3rd graders at Birch Bay State Park.
We are a K-12 environmental science program that uses shellfish as a vehicle to teach marine science with hands-on learning through field experience, and Harmony Elementary's 3rd grade class is coming to the field to get some valuable learning! We need volunteers to help run fun, educational stations with simple but engaging activities for groups of around eight students, with accompanying teachers and parent chaperones.
