Teaching children in the Rising International Bilingual School – RIBS in Bertoua
This is an ongoing program created to build children's interest in learning and gaining new experiences with the support of international volunteers.
You will support our local teachers in the school, apply learned teaching principles to real-life situations. As well build confidence in your teaching skills through teaching children aged 3 – 15.
Obtain exposure to varied classroom situations, diverse learning, and cultural contexts. While supporting communities in Cameroon and gaining valuable teaching experience.
This volunteer opportunity will be available starting May 2026 in Cameroon; you can choose to stay between 3-12 months in this long-term Program. Please check our other Needs if you would like a short-term program, we have 3 available
Costs and Accommodation
Because Hope Foundation is a small NGO with limited financial resources, we ask that each volunteer covers their own personal costs during their stay in Cameroon, the flight to Cameroon and the visa. You will be provided with accommodation. We have a safe and comfortable housing or host families. As well three healthy meals a day, pick up and drop off from the airport. With the airport tickets, meals, and place to stay included, it's an estimated $117 per week.
