POSITION TITLE: Event Volunteer
PROGRAM: Development, Outreach and Fundraising
RESPONSIBLE TO: Lydia Place Community Engagement Team
POSITION SUMMARY: Provides support at various events throughout the year at our many events within the community.
EXPECTATIONS AND COMMITMENT:
- Volunteers may sign up for as many or as few events as they choose, we appreciate you!
- Volunteers are expected to show up on time and follow through for their commitment of chosen shift(s).
- Volunteers are not permitted to be under the influence while working as a volunteer at Lydia Place, therefore no drinking will be allowed during your shift.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support Lydia Place Community Engagement team by performing essential tasks at Lydia Place events.
- Possible positions include: registration, greeters, guest service, raffles, set-up, clean-up, food services, drink services, carding & ID Checks etc.
- Volunteer needs will vary at each event.
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
- MAST certification would be AWESOME!
- Friendly, cheerful demeanor
- Ability to listen carefully and execute directions
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Attention to detail

About the Event: Concert on the Green at Barkley Village
Join Barkley Village and Haggen Food & Pharmacy on August 17th for the second annual Barkley Village Concert On The Green featuring live music from Baby Cakes and Petty Or Not with all proceeds benefiting Lydia Place.
Bring your blankets or chairs to the park and enjoy a cold beer, wine, or cider from Twin Sisters Brewing Company and some delicious food from Jalapenos Family Mexican Restaurant, Chow Gourmet Hot Dogs, Sage Against The Machine 360 and the Sugar Shack Ice Cream Truck.
Join us for only $20 per ticket which comes with two free drink tickets for beer/wine/cider/soda from Twin Sisters Brewing Company. Bringing the little ones? Kids under 5 are free! Music Schedule:
The doors open at 4:00 with a live performance from Baby Cakes, a 10-piece powerhouse of highly experienced and talented musicians that takes their audiences on a joyride through the golden age of American Soul, funk, and R&B. Next up is the Tom Petty tribute band Petty Or Not taking the stage to cover all of your favorite Tom Petty classics and more! Join us to enjoy a talented group of amazing musicians providing a fun filled night of music, beer, food, and fun. We can't wait to see you there!
