Hello wonderful community volunteers!
If you have any interest in connecting with people in need of housing please consider volunteering to help with the 2017 Point-In-Time Count. The Point-In-Time (PIT) Count is the annual census / housing survey for households experiencing homelessness. With your help we can collect valuable data about Whatcom County’s most vulnerable population and use the information to advocate for more effective housing services.
This year the PIT count will occur Thursday, January 26th, but there may be volunteer shifts available on alternative days during the last week in January.
If you would like to volunteer please email Summer Starr (summer_starr@oppco.org) with your preferred email address to receive more information. If you are unavailable on Thursday, January 26th please say so in your response.
