Hello wonderful community volunteers!
Do you have an interest in helping our community understand the issue of homelessness? Are you comfortable having sensitive conversations with individuals you just met? Are you interested in connecting with individuals who are experiencing homelessness in our community? If so, you may consider volunteering to survey with the 2018 Point In Time Count.
The Point In Time (PIT) Count is the annual census / housing survey for households experiencing homelessness. With your help we can collect valuable data about Whatcom County’s most vulnerable population and use the information to advocate for more effective housing services.
In 2018 the PIT count will occur Thursday, January 25th, but there are also volunteer shifts available on alternative days during the last week in January.
