Join us at our barn at WLT’s Riverstead property to pot young trees for future planting parties! Keeping them safe and cozy in pots for a year helps the trees develop roots so that they can survive dry Whatcom County summers. We’ll have our hands in the dirt from 9 am to 3 pm, so come for the day or drop by for a couple of hours. This is a great opportunity to meet other Land Trust volunteers and learn about our story.
Directions: Take Mt. Baker Hwy (SR 542) east past Deming. Turn right (south) on SR 9 to Acme. Turn left on Rothenbuler Road and travel less than ¼ mile. Barn is on the north side of the road. Address: 5400 Rothenbuhler Road.
