Description

Join us and Whatcom County Parks for a work party at one of Whatcom Land Trust’s Conservation Easement properties. This beautifully forested piece of land was put into protection by the Jensen Family and the trail is now managed by Whatcom County Parks. We will be on a scavenger hunt to remove invasive species, like English holly and Himalayan blackberry, throughout the property and will also accomplish trail maintenance on this delightful mature forest.

Directions: From Bellingham, head North on Interstate 5 and take the exit for Birch Bay Lynden Road (Exit 270). Take a right (east) on Birch Bay Lynden Road. Travel ~1.5 miles and take a right (south) on Stein Road. The gravel parking lot will be on the right hand side.
