On Thursday, September 13th, RE Sources for Sustainable Communities will hold our annual Environmental Heroes awards banquet. We are excited to be honoring Carl Weimer with a Lifetime Achievement Award and former Executive Director Crina Hoyer’s remarkable 20-year legacy with the organization. Thank you for volunteering at this special event to help us honor their dedication to making our community healthier and safer for future generations. The event will be held at Barnstar Events: 5295 S. Church Rd, Ferndale, WA 98248.
We need help with setup, parking, food and beverage service (past serving experience required), dishes, and cleanup. Shifts are generally between 3-6 hours long and run between the hours of noon and 10pm. In appreciation, we offer volunteers working 4+ hours snacks before or after their shift and a gift card to one of several local businesses who have generously donated to the event.
