The Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County Lynden branch is throwing the BBQ of the summer at Boxx Berry Farm on Thursday, July 30th! Be a part of this inagural community event where we will increase awareness of the work of the Boys & Girls Clubs and raise funds to support Club operations in your community.
Fun volunteering opportunity!
Dinner on the Farm is the new fundraising event for the Boys & Girls Clubs Lynden branch. We need help setting up, putting on, and cleaning up this laid back evening at Boxx Berry Farm. Proceeds will benefit our Boys & Girls Club kids.
Can you help on Thursday, July 30th?
10 AM – 4 PM: Setting Up
Come by during the day of the event to help us set-up tables, chair, stations, and decorations. Whether it’s a few hours or the whole day, your help is appreciated!
4:30 – 9 PM: Event Time
All kinds of tasks for all kinds of talent! We need parking attendants, lawn game refs, dinner & dessert helpers, tickets sales, and extra hands during the program presentation. Must be 21 years or older to volunteer during the event.
8:30-10:30 PM: Clean-Up
Some heavy lifting, but there’s an opportunity for everyone to help us finish strong!
There is also a chance to help before the event, on Wednesday, July 29:
1-4 PM: Load & Unloading (Bellingham & Ferndale)
Help load the truck with tables and chairs for the event, then do initial set-up at Boxx's.
