Receive, weigh, sort, package, & load incoming food and goods that have been recovered from community partners & saved from the landfill! Receive: Volunteer drivers deliver recovered food & goods from 9:30 -11:00am Weigh: All donations are weighed, to allow us to track what's been recovered Sort: Decide what is for Hubs & what gets to go to compost/the pigs! Package: Box according to the needs of receiving hubs Load: As volunteer drivers arrive, help them load their hub's packaged food and send them on their way to feed our county! Urgently need on call drivers Early morning routes are picking up surplus food and goods from our community partners & delivering to our distribution hub in Ferndale no later than 10:30 am. A large vehicle such as a truck, van or SUV is preferred as donations can range from a little to a lot.Substitute/On call drivers - We are always looking for substitute drivers for any weekday and would add you to the call/text list. Sometimes we need coverage for planned vacations or last minute. We have routes all over Whatcom County * we currently do not provide the transportation or able to provide gas as we are a small non-profit* Agency: Miracle Food Network, Inc. Monday through Friday
