Do you dream of dancing every Saturday night during the school year with live music? Fiddle music? Quilts? Stringlights? Pot lucks? Good ol' fun for the mind and body and soul? Imagine Jane Austen meets Irish party dancing. We endeavour to make this traditional movement of arts and culture and engine for good health, belonging, and respectable, affordable, and sustainable living.

We need a volunteer to write grants to fund our programs!

Our programs are all volunteer run with expenses funded via admission fees, but there are so many exciting things we want to do that are only possible with cold hard cash. 

Help us make it happen! 

Did you know grant writing looks good on a resume?

Are you an artist? We love having hand made posters and dancers love to see them. Make something beautiful to share the fun of dancing. See the picture for an example. It was made with real flower petals from a local florist!

Edit and update the dance schedule. A modest effort, but this a critical avenue for dancers to stay in the know. A couple times a season, the schedule needs to be updated with new band and caller details and then be sent in for printing and pick up.

Coming early to set up (6pm – 7pm) -setting up chairs, tables, quilts, lights, fans, opening windows, etc..

Staying after to take down (10 – 10:30pm)

-duties same as above but in reverse
