Volunteer: Social Visits with Seniors!Mt. Baker Care Center is currently looking for volunteers to participate in social visits with residents in our community! Our staff will introduce you to residents who are interested and help you both feel out if it will be a good fit. These visits can consist of anything from socializing, coloring, knitting, playing cards, reading aloud, painting nails, and so on. Destinations vary from week to week, but typically include: restaurants, coffee shops, museums, parks, bowling alleys, nurseries, fairs and shopping trips. We typically schedule outings for Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays but times and dates vary.
