Washington Child Advocate Program

We are the Volunteer Guardian ad Litem Program, part of the Whatcom County Juvenile Court in partnership with WACAP. Our mission is to advocate for children and individuals in need through trained, compassionate volunteers who are dedicated to making a difference and be a voice for those they serve.

We empower community volunteers to advocate for children involved in court cases, ensuring their voices are heard and their best interests are prioritized. Our volunteers investigate cases, collaborate with professionals, and provide judges with informed recommendations to advocate for safe, stable, and supportive outcomes.
