Who We Are
We envision a thriving circular economy in Northwest Washington that revitalizes forests and fields, regenerates healthy ecosystems, and fosters sustainable, resilient communities for generations to come.
We convene, facilitate, and support collaborative work practices that enable land stewards to implement projects that reduce atmospheric carbon, revitalize degraded soils, and restore watersheds using regenerative nature-based climate solutions.
What We Do
Kulshan Carbon Trust (KCT) works to conserve and sequester carbon through collaborative natural climate solutions in Northwest Washington. We partner with communities, land stewards, and organizations to restore ecosystems, improve soil health, and develop innovative carbon projects that regenerate the land and build resilience. Our work includes reforestation, biochar production, regenerative land management, and supporting equitable climate solutions that benefit both people and nature. Volunteers play a vital role in helping us advance our mission through hands-on restoration efforts, community outreach, and project support. Join us in creating a healthier, more climate-resilient future!
