Who We Are

With more than 250 volunteers based in Ferndale and across Whatcom County food hubs, Miracle Food Network collects, sorts, and distributes groceries and ready-to-eat meals—contributing hundreds of thousands of service hours each year and feeding people at a cost of less than 50 cents per person.

What We Do

Miracle Food Network (MFN) rescues surplus food and essential goods to fight hunger and reduce waste throughout Whatcom County. Partnering with farmers, grocers, restaurants, retailers, and wholesalers, MFN recovers more than 2 million pounds of food each year for food banks, shelters, and meal programs. Over 250 dedicated volunteers contribute hundreds of thousands of service hours to collect, sort, and distribute groceries and ready-to-eat meals—feeding people at a cost of under 50 cents per person.
