Who We Are

The Blaine Senior Center serves the Blaine and Birch Bay communities as well as members and guests from the other areas of Whatcom County and across the border in British Columbia.  We are open from 8am to 4pm daily Monday through Friday.  We are a non profit organization and receive support from the City of Blaine, Whatcom County, The Whatcom County Council on Aging and many local businesses and organizations.

What We Do

Blaine Senior Center

An age 50 plus community with a large gym with both cardio and strength training equipment, a variety of fitness classes, a retro pool and snooker room, a well stocked library (books, games, puzzles, DVDs), a ping pong table and a variety of game and music interest groups.  As part of the Whatcom Council on Aging Meals on Wheels program we serve 5 hot meals daily in house, provide a bag of 5 frozen meals, bread and milk in our Thursday drive thru program and have a daily hot meal delivery route serving home bound seniors.  We also host a variety of community events and serve as a local contact to connect people with needed resources.
