Bloodworks Northwest (Formerly Puget Sound Blood Center)

We invite you to join the Volunteer Team of Bloodworks Northwest (formerly known as Puget Sound Blood Center)—an independent, non-profit, volunteer-supported regional resource for blood and specialized lab services.

For over 70 years, Bloodworks Northwest has been serving counties throughout Western Washington. Blood contains the building blocks to tomorrow’s bio-tech products, research discoveries and healthcare therapies, and we are the leading experts in all things blood, which makes Bloodworks inextricably vital to these advances. This is what inspires us.

As a Bloodworks volunteer, you are joining an organization with 900 employees and about 2000 active volunteers. Through our blood center locations and community blood drives, approximately 800 donors give blood every weekday. Last year, more than 70,000 patients were helped with over 200,000 donations of blood given by volunteer donors. By volunteering your time, you are part of the life-saving link that delivers blood to patients in need. You will be contributing to your community in a very special way.
