Who We Are
The Whatcom Council on Aging (WCOA) and Bellingham Senior Activity Center has been serving seniors in our community since 1964. We are an independent non-profit organization supported by local business donations, community member donations, limited federal funding and grants. Our entire senior center is powered by amazing volunteers.
- Bellingham Senior Activity Center
- Meals on Wheels
- Senior Community Lunches
- Frozen Meal Pick-up Program (Parking lot)
Volunteer opportunities are available with each of our programs.
What We Do
We provide seniors (age 60+) with dining room lunch-time meals, parking lot pick-up of bags of frozen meals, home delivered Meals on Wheels for people who are home-bound, social activities, recreational activities, and educational programs that promote wellness of mind and body for community members as they age.
Our entire senior center is powered by amazing volunteers who donate their time to make our center possible for the seniors in our community. We couldn't do it without the support of our community volunteers. Our team of volunteers is fun and welcoming. We would love to introduce you to our team.
