Foothills Food Bank

Established in 1986, Foothills Food Bank provides free groceries to anyone living in East Whatcom County. Households can visit the Food Bank once per week for as long as they need assistance. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and are part of a broader network of Whatcom County food banks that distribute commodity food resources.

Foothills Food Bank works hard to ensure that all Foothills residents have access to healthy, nutritious food and enough of it. Our food bank distributions serve over 350 households weekly with fresh and frozen produce, dairy, meats, dry goods, and non-perishables. For folks who are unable to come into the food bank, we offer a home delivery service that brings fresh groceries to directly to their home. Our Winter and Spring Pantry Program provides supplemental kid-friendly snacks and meals for low-income students to help prevent hunger over Winter and Spring breaks.
