Donations will be requested to help make a difference in the lives of the women and children of Dorothy Place, a program that provides safe housing, case management, and support services for women and children who are survivors of domestic violence.
Key Note Speaker, Andrea Owner
Andrea Owner brings over 20 years of social services and property management experience in supportive and affordable housing as the Housing Director for the YMCA of Greater Seattle and as the Housing Services Manager at Bellwether Housing. She has been the Director of Property Management at Plymouth Housing Group since 2012. Previously, she provided countywide leadership to create housing options for high-risk young adults and those exiting the foster care system, speaking nationally on best practices for supportive housing for this population. In addition, Andrea currently serves on the board of the South Lake Union Community Council. She graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a BS in sociology. Throughout her career Andrea has worked with women and families impacted by the cycle of domestic violence and has been personally impacted by the trauma of DV relationships. She brings courage, resilience, and hope in her leadership.
