Teams of 5-10 runners explore 30+ miles of trails, roads, and parks with leg lengths between 1.6 miles and 5 miles. Each transition spot is one of 10 local breweries and cideries throughout Bellingham. It all ends with an After Party and a pint glass and free fill for participants. Costumes are strongly encouraged, and the costume contest winner receives merchandise from the local breweries and cideries. This event is 21+ and benefits Lydia Place, a nonprofit, community-based agency serving individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Whatcom County since 1989.
We’re seeking volunteers to direct our runners on the course. Shifts vary from 1-4 hours between the hours of 9am and 3pm on October 16th. Once you contact us we will arrange a time slot and location that suits your needs.
We are also seeking individuals/organizations/businesses to take on an entire leg of the run. The Lead Volunteer position requires 2-3 hours of pre planning and organizing and recruiting a volunteer group. If you need help with volunteer recruitment we can assist.
