The 2024 Ski to Sea is right around the corner! Ski to Sea requires over 500 volunteers to make it a success and we offer a variety of positions from packet pickup the Thursday before the race (May 23) all the way until race day (May 26).
By volunteering, you join in making the Ski to Sea Race the largest and most fun community event in Whatcom County. When you volunteer, you give back to an event that defines our community, and our region. All volunteers receive a Ski to Sea T-shirt and lunch or snacks (depending on shift). Looking to get more involved in the race? We are currently seeking one Lead Volunteer to join the race Committee and work with our current Chair and Course designer on the Cyclocross Leg.
The Leg Chair position is unpaid and requires full availability Race Weekend (May 25-26) as well as attendance of 3-5 meetings leading up to Race Day, generally one hour each. If you are interested in learning more, please email us at info@skitosea.com
