On Wednesday August 12th, we are looking for volunteers who can help anywhere from 8:30 AM- 2:30 PM at our 17th Annual Senior Day in the Park at Hovander Homestead Park in Ferndale, put on by Meals on Wheels and More.
Most of the help we need is simple- direct parking, greet guests, set up chairs/tables, serve food. The event runs from 10:00 to 2:00 and features a BBQ picnic with 300+ senior citizens, raffles, resource fair, and live music.
All volunteers get a free BBQ lunch!
