Sports Education
As a sport educator and coach for youths, you will volunteer in football training academy for 16-year-old girls and boys who want to play and learn football. You will train them after work and at the weekend. The main sport will be football, but we are as well open for other sports. The footballers will play competitions, improve their football skills and have lots of fun.
Our volunteers do not only conduct training courses but also spend time with the local teams and the trainers. If walking among local teams and refugees while broadening your horizons makes your heart beat faster, we’ll be glad to see you in a track suit!
This volunteer opportunity will be available starting May 2026 in Cameroon; you can choose to stay between 3-12 months in this long-term Program. Please check our other Needs if you would like a short-term program, we have 3 available.
Costs and Accommodation
Because Hope Foundation is a small NGO with limited financial resources, we ask that each volunteer covers their own personal costs during their stay in Cameroon, the flight to Cameroon and the visa. You will be provided with accommodation. We have a safe and comfortable housing or host families. As well three healthy meals a day, pick up and drop off from the airport. With the airport tickets, meals, and place to stay included, it's an estimated $117 per week.
