Do you enjoy working with building materials and the concept of reuse? The RE Store is looking for volunteers that want to help us with our mission; diverting materials from the waste stream while promoting resuse and sustainable building practices in Whatcom County.
Volunteers would be helping us with the following:
- Organize and clean the store and outside storage areas
- Assist in sorting and merchandising incoming merchandise
- Direct customers with questions and assist with unloading and loading of materials
- Learn about sustainability, recycling, and reuse
- Disassemble doors, process paint, and help staff with daily operations
*Long term volunteers receive 20% discount to the store while working with us!
