Whatcom Events is excited to bring back the Mt. Baker Hill Climb, a bicycle race that begins just east of Glacier, WA (around MP 35) and follows the highway up to Artist Point. The event is Sunday, September 9th and we need volunteers!
While this volunteer position begins in the early morning, historically the weather is beautiful up there that time of year and it's a great opportunity to spend time in the Mt. Baker National Forest. The proceeds from this event will benefit the local non-profit, Lydia Place, as well as local food banks.
The event goes from approximately 7 am – 12 pm and there are a variety of positions available, from racer check-in in Glacier to running Aid tents at Artist Point. To learn more about the available positions, please email volunteer@skitosea.com.
