On Make a Difference Day, come and volunteer at Wise Buys Thrift Store in downtown Bellingham, and see how volunteers make a difference every day! Wise Buys Thrift Store is staffed by volunteers, with all proceeds going to Lydia Place, a nonprofit agency disrupting the cycle of homelessness in Whatcom County.

Make a new friend, gain some valuable experience, and make a difference in our local community by pairing up with one of our volunteers to help raise the essential dollars needed to support the programs, services and mission of Lydia Place.

Some of the tasks will include sorting donations, pricing items to sell, assisting our volunteers at the register, engaging customers, as well as organizing and sprucing up our store for the fall season! Respond to learn more!
