Volunteer at the 15th Annual Downtown Sounds summer concert series!
Enjoy live music and a fun outdoors atmosphere while contributing to a vibrant downtown core.
We are looking for event volunteers to help provide a great concert series! There are several different positions, if you have a strong preference for or against any of the roles, please let us know! We will do our best to accommodate.
Volunteer duties may include:
Beer garden beverage pourer - Pour beer or wine for concert goers inside the beer garden. Should work well with other team members and have strong communication skills. Must be able to work quickly and be on your feet for 4 hours. Customer service, or food industry experience is highly suggested! Must be 21+
ID and Wristbands - Help us check ID's and wristband concert goers who are entering the beer garden. Must be able to communicate clearly and with confidence to keep the line moving. Experience checking ID's is a plus. Must be able to be on your feet for 4 hours. Must be 21+
Cashiers - Sell beverage tokens and Downtown Sounds merchandise with a staff member. Experience with cash handling and a square reader is required. Hundreds of people com into the beer garden each week. You must be able to communicate clearly and with confidence in fast paced environment.
Security - Assist security team with necessary tasks in the beer garden. Previous experience in a security role or position is a bonus. Must be able to be on your feet for 4+ hours. Must be 21+
Shift times:
Every Wednesday from 5:00pm-9:00pm, July 10, July 17, July 24, July 30, and August 7.
We would prefer to have recurring volunteers, but we also understand that summers are busy! We'd love to work with your schedule if you're interested in volunteering - just let us know your available dates in an email.
Additional info:
Concerts are outside! Please dress for the weather, and please be prepared to be on your feet. Feel free to bring snacks and water! There will also be food vendors on site. Volunteers will be given Downtown Sounds shirts to wear during event shifts!
