On Thursday, September 12th, RE Sources for Sustainable Communities will hold our annual Environmental Heroes Awards Banquet. We are excited to be honoring three inspiring heroes: Rosalinda Guillen of Community to Community Development; Steve Garey of the Washington BlueGreen Alliance; and Rachel Vasak of the Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association. Thank you for volunteering at this special event to help us honor their dedication to making our community healthier and safer for future generations. The event will be held at Barnstar Events in Ferndale.
We need help with setup, parking, food and beverage service (past serving experience required), dishes, and cleanup. Shifts begin as early as 11am and end as late as 10pm. Shifts are generally between 3-6 hours long. For volunteers working 4+ hours there will be snacks and gift cards to several local businesses offered in appreciation.
