Come join Habitat Whatcom at our Women Build meeting via Zoom, where you will hear about the 2021 Whatcom Women Build that starts May 5th and ends June 5th. We will also go over some smaller events planned leading up to the month long build, some will be virtual and some will be hands-on activities for you to get involved with, such as a virtual class on how to build a planter box! and a past favorite, sign a stud which, this year will be done virtually.
Women builders will raise awareness on affordable housing. 2020 has made many people re-evaluate the importance of a safe, affordable home and we here at Habitat are striving hard to make that a reality for 5 households here in Whatcom County this year. No experience is necessary to build with Habitat!
There are multiple build days available for individuals, or small groups of up to 6 volunteers on the build days.
