Our Mission: Old Friends Club empowers communities to cultivate joy in the lives of adults with dementia and nourish the wellbeing of family caregivers.
Program Volunteer Description
Time commitment: 5 hour shift, at least 1x/week
Responsibilities:
- Help with Club set-up/clean-up
- Assist Program Coordinator/Program Assistant throughout shift
- Potentially lead an activity, if comfortable
- Socialize and connect with others
- Provide valuable support and encouragement to Club members
- Assist with lunch distribution, set-up and clean-up

Desired Volunteer Qualifications
- Experience working with the elderly, caregiving, and/or personal experience with an individual living with dementia
- Compassionate, friendly, and empathic
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Reliable, punctual, flexible
