
Hello everyone! I hope you are doing well this Holiday Season!
Our annual Hearts for Housing fundraising event is coming up on February 10th! We would love to have your volunteer support at this year’s evening of enchantment and giving.
This year’s event is a masquerade-themed gala and auction and will be held at the Four Points by Sheraton.
What to expect if you have not volunteered or attended a Hearts for Housing:
For guests:
We have a heartfelt program, dinner, dessert dash and paddle raise in the beautiful Four Points ballroom. We also have large silent and silent plus auctions, plus a room full of fun games and ways to give!
For volunteering we are looking for help with:
- Décor and program preparation the week leading up to the event (2/7)
- Setting up the day before the event (2/9)
- Day of event (this is the day we are in need of the most support) (2/10)
- Finishing setting up
- Hearts for Housing event shift
- Teardown
Below is a shift schedule for the week leading up to the event, and the event itself. Following the schedule is a brief description of the types of tasks which need to be completed on each of these days.

Set-Up: Unloading (some heavy lifting), Room Staging, Décor
Event: Customer Service, Games, Registration, Auction Support
Tear-Down: Organization, Loading (heavy lifting)
If you are interested, please reply with what shift(s) you would like to take and remember Wednesday and Friday shifts are open so please reply back with what works for you within that shift time. If you could let me know by January 15th that would be amazing.
