Who We Are

Francis Place is a housing program operated by Catholic Community Services (CCS) of Western Washington.

CCS is committed to serving those individuals, children, families and communities struggling with poverty and the effects of intolerance and racism, and to actively joining with others to work for justice. CCS/CHS serves people in need, regardless of religious affiliation, race or economic status.

What We Do

Francis Place is a Permanent Supportive Housing project designed and operated by Catholic Community Services and Catholic Housing Services.  Francis Place provides a total of 42 units of affordable housing to individuals that have experienced chronic homelessness.  Residents benefit from 24/7 supportive services, therapeutic programming and ongoing case management. Francis Place represents what can be accomplished when a community is committed to honoring the dignity of each community member.  To put it simply, we are thrilled to have this opportunity to do this amazing work!

Francis Place is a very special place and we want to do everything we can to build meaningful relationships with our residents based on trust. Our services are based on healing and the understanding that many of the individuals living here have experienced extreme trauma throughout their lives. In everything we do, we hope to bring safety, stability and support.

Thanks again for opening yourself up to this possibility!
