Join us for a special Boards in Gear series. Traditionally a one-day training, we are organizing this into a five-part series to allow for peer learning and interaction as well as digestion of the learning along the way.
Boards in Gear is comprised of five chapters:
- Connection to Cause (November 6th)
- Responsibilities (November 13th)
- Building a great board - Composition & Development (November 20th)
- Sustaining a great board - Board Operations (November 27th)
- Fundraising (December 4th)
Session 5: FUNDRAISING: Board members ensure that the organization has the necessary resources to sustain its work over time. For many boards, this involves an active role in fundraising, often with the help of staff.
